Atlanpole has been a Groupement d'Intérêt Public (GIP) since 1st January 2025. This new governance structure strengthens the regional hub's local roots and the contribution of businesses to innovation. Businesses are thus placed at the heart of governance, while ensuring a public majority on the Administrative Board, thereby guaranteeing balanced management that is representative of the region's driving forces.
Governance is structured into two colleges:
- A public college, with a majority representing local authorities, higher education and research institutions, and the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
- A private college, bringing together Atlanpole network companies, the eight competitiveness clusters in the Pays de la Loire region, financial institutions, and private higher education and health establishments.
